Supervision
Supervision Approach
My aim for supervision is to cultivate the growth, confidence and wellbeing of supervisees to thrive as social workers and clinicians. Supervision can be flexible and adapt to the specific goals of the supervisee. Elements of supervision can include:
Highlighting supervisee strengths, successes, areas of growth
Reflection upon challenges, clinical presentations, systemic struggles, therapeutic dynamics
Therapeutic skills development and integrating theory in practice
Reflection on implementing social work identity within clinical work
Clinical case formulations and treatment planning
Developing self-care/wellbeing plans for the workplace
Reflection on personal/professional values
Management and prevention of burn out and vicarious trauma
Individual and group supervision is available for social workers, students and multidisciplinary clinicians!
