Therapeutic Services

Telehealth Appointments

Telehealth appointments will occur via phone or video. I encourage you to make yourself comfortable in a space where you feel safe and will have privacy to speak freely. Make yourself a tea, light a candle, snuggle up with a blanket and practice some self-care while doing your appointment.

Walk & Talk Appointments

Walk & Talk appointments allow us to meet face-to-face and get the extra benefits of being in the sun, breathing fresh air and enjoying the endorphins from some light exercise. All fitness levels are welcome and we will walk at your pace, taking breaks if needed. Walk & Talk appointments will generally take place around Sydney’s Inner West along stretches of the Bay Run or in Sydney’s Northern Beaches.

Face-to-Face Appointments

Indoor face-to-face appointments are available in Sydney’s Northern Beaches in the community hall at Christ Church Northern Beaches. This space provides us with a comfortable, confidential space for counselling, creative therapies and using fidget toys and resources.

Group Work

Group therapy programs that run for 6-8 weeks and use evidence-based therapies including Acceptance Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT). The groups focus on building skills to help you learn more about your mental health, emotions, relationships, communication and develop strategies to manage emotions and mental health difficulties effectively. Groups incorporate interactive and creative activities and prioritise building a culture of safety and respect for all group members. Groups will run for young people and adults at various times throughout the year. Please submit your expression of interest to be placed on the waitlist.

Christian Counselling

As a committed Christian, currently undertaking theological study, I also offer counselling from a Christian perspective at the request of clients. I support clients to understand the intersection between their faith, values and mental health and how to live life to the full according to their beliefs. Through thorough self-reflection, supervision and adherence to the AASW Code of Ethics, I ensure that I do not to impose my own beliefs or values upon any of my clients. I explain the scope of my practice and gain informed consent if any client requests a Christian counselling perspective. I approach Christian counselling from a place of empathy, compassion, grace and hope without judgement. I also support clients to work through experiences of religious trauma and abuse and support people to develop healthier spiritual wellbeing.
